Mental Health Counselor

Job Title: Mental Health Counselor – 24 Hours per Week - Onsite at Construction Site in Albany, NY

Job Overview:
Ramp Health is excited to offer a Mental Health Counselor opportunity in Albany, NY, working 24 hours per week at a construction site. In this part-time role, you will collaborate closely with the onsite wellness coach to provide mental health support to employees. This position offers flexible hours between 7 AM – 4 PM, with the potential for increased hours based on demand. You'll provide critical mental health services, including individual and group counseling sessions, while supporting both short-term and long-term goals for the employees.

Position Details:

• Part-time: 24 hours per week

• Hours are flexible between 7 AM – 4 PM

• Onsite at a construction site, working alongside a wellness coach to support employee wellbeing

Responsibilities:

• Provide full-spectrum, evidence-based mental health services to employees, including:

  • Individual psychotherapy (children and adults)

  • Marriage/couples counseling

  • Family therapy

  • Psychological testing

  • Addiction counseling

• Work collaboratively with the wellness coach to address both mental health and wellness concerns of employees

• Provide short-term and long-term counseling services tailored to employees' needs

• Ensure all counseling sessions adhere to the highest standards of confidentiality and ethics

Job Requirements:

• Licensed Mental Health Counselor or equivalent qualifications

• Must have experience working with both children and adults in a therapeutic setting

• Previous mental health counseling experience in an on-site or corporate environment is preferred

• Must be able to work independently and collaborate effectively with a wellness coach

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and engage with diverse employee populations
