PRN Nurse Practitioner for Construction Site
Are you a Nurse Practitioner eager to play a vital role in the health and safety of employees on an as-needed basis? We are seeking a dedicated PRN Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Rayville, LA. In this role, you will provide expert care and support for our wellness and safety programs, contributing to a healthier, safer work environment when coverage or support is needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Medical Oversight & Coordination: Work collaboratively with the Dedicated Doctor to ensure high standards of medical care and treatment coordination for employees.
Wellness Program Support: Assist with wellness initiatives and preventive health services to promote employee well-being.
Immunizations & Injections: Administer Tetanus, flu shots, and other vaccines as requested.
Fit Testing for Facemasks: Perform fit testing for workers’ facemasks to ensure safety compliance.
Care Coordination: Collaborate with local EMS agencies as needed to support emergency response and health protocols.
Safety Program Involvement: Participate in onsite safety meetings and support internal health and safety initiatives.
Site-Specific Meetings: Engage in meetings as scheduled to support site-specific health and safety goals.
Qualifications:
Licensed Nurse Practitioner in the state of Louisiana
5+ years of experience in Family, General, or Occupational Health
Familiarity with disability management and return-to-work protocols
Experience supporting wellness programs and health initiatives
Proficient in vaccine administration and fit testing procedures
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Organized and adaptable to meet varying site needs
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
Work Schedule:
PRN (as needed)
Primarily first shift coverage, with flexibility based on operational demands
Compensation: $80/hour
