PRN Nurse Practitioner for Construction Site

Are you a Nurse Practitioner eager to play a vital role in the health and safety of employees on an as-needed basis? We are seeking a dedicated PRN Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Rayville, LA. In this role, you will provide expert care and support for our wellness and safety programs, contributing to a healthier, safer work environment when coverage or support is needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Medical Oversight & Coordination: Work collaboratively with the Dedicated Doctor to ensure high standards of medical care and treatment coordination for employees.

• Wellness Program Support: Assist with wellness initiatives and preventive health services to promote employee well-being.

• Immunizations & Injections: Administer Tetanus, flu shots, and other vaccines as requested.

• Fit Testing for Facemasks: Perform fit testing for workers’ facemasks to ensure safety compliance.

• Care Coordination: Collaborate with local EMS agencies as needed to support emergency response and health protocols.

• Safety Program Involvement: Participate in onsite safety meetings and support internal health and safety initiatives.

• Site-Specific Meetings: Engage in meetings as scheduled to support site-specific health and safety goals.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner in the state of Louisiana

• 5+ years of experience in Family, General, or Occupational Health

• Familiarity with disability management and return-to-work protocols

• Experience supporting wellness programs and health initiatives

• Proficient in vaccine administration and fit testing procedures

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Organized and adaptable to meet varying site needs

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment

Work Schedule:

• PRN (as needed)

• Primarily first shift coverage, with flexibility based on operational demands
   

Compensation: $80/hour
