Ramp Health is currently looking to hire a full time position to service our clients located in the Dallas Fort Worth area.

Ramp Health, the pioneer, largest, and most experienced national provider of the uniquely powerful on-site coaching delivery model, is currently looking to hire a Full Time Paramedic to join us as on-site to service our client’s needs. While on-site with your clients, you will work one-on-one with employees, to improve the lifestyle behaviors related to injury prevention and management. As an paramedic in this roll, you will continuously evaluate employee conditions, injuries and illnesses, conduct diagnostic tests and exercises and communicate these results with medical professionals
Position Summary:
  • Provide injury prevention, education and treatment to employees on an individual or group basis as to enhance the quality of life and safety of the individual.
  • Basic First Aid for minor onsite injuries on construction site
  • Utilize Coaching directed towards the human aspect of wellness, emphasizing personal motivation to improve behaviors, education and awareness as it related to injury prevention and safety.
  • Help employees set goals, answer questions, and provide guidance and on-going support through our proprietary coaching process.
  • Participate in on-going training in coaching methodology and psychology as part of our “best-in-class” coaching skill set development program.
Requirements:
 
  • First aid and CPR certification is required
  • Provide emergency medical assistance, such as CPR or bandaging a wound
  • Quickly and efficiently assess a patient’s condition and determine the best course of treatment
  • Document what kind of medical treatment was given to the patient 
  • Replace, clean and buy inventory of supplies and equipment
  • 2+ years prior experience as an EMT or in athletic training, including wellness and fitness
  • Demonstrated time management skills, along with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Exceptional verbal skills and ability to meet, greet, speak and positively represent.
  • Outgoing and personable, able to work independently, and must possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
Nice to Have:
  • 1+ years prior coaching experience in fitness, promotions or nutrition.
  • OSHA Certification
  • Proficient knowledge in Microsoft office and EMR/SOAP data entry is preferred.
  • Experience using Motivational Interviewing methodologies.
